I spent 25+ years inside investment firms doing the hard work many cannot see from the outside. Built things. Scaled things. Started as an accountant but built skills in legal, operations, finance and technology.
I started two investment firms from the ground up as a GP and an LP raising capital, direct investing and allocating capital.
That dual vantage point changed everything.
Everyone wants to be better at what they do. Better firms. Better at running them. I spent those years around people chasing that relentlessly.
In 2022, I stepped away with intention but no destination. I needed space to see what I was actually curious about. I recommend everyone try this once. One month is too short btw.
